We are excited to announce, the VA-RCM system – developed by collaborative project partners Hitex, Transport Systems Catapult, Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB), TWI and InnoTec UK – was recently tested on a pair of TMB train doors at Faively Transport, which is part of the Wabtec Corporation, in Barcelona. Different failure mechanisms were induced and the target was to test the validity of the algorithm that has been developed within the project for monitoring the failure of train doors.
